SHUTTLE TARIFFS

3.2 Rates and Fares for Point to Point

Call-and-demand shuttle service-specific point to point rates. The following revised rates become effective March 11, 2024

1. From Absolute Bikes Salida, CO to the Monarch Crest parking lot at the top of Monarch Pass, CO

rate: $39/person subject to a minimum charge of $130

2. From Absolute Bikes Salida, CO to the trailhead parking lot for Cottonwood Trail at the junction of Chaffee Cty Rd 175 and Chaffee Cty Rd 181

rate: $30/person subject to a minimum charge of $80

3. From all points that are within a five(5) miles radius of Absolute Bikes Salida, CO to the Monarch Crest parking lot at the top of Monarch Pass, CO

rate: $39/person subject to a minimum charge of $140

4. From Monarch Crest parking lot at the top of Monarch Pass, CO to Absolute Bikes Salida, CO

rate: $15/person-only if picked up immediately after passengers are unloaded on a trip to the Monarch Crest parking lot-otherwise applicable mileage rates apply.

5. From Absolute Bikes Salida, CO to the parking lot/boat dock at the Big Bend Recreation Area on Chaffee Cty Rd 165

rate: $30/person subject to a minimum charge of $60

6. From Absolute Bikes Salida, CO to the parking lot at Little Rainbow Trailhead in Chaffee County off County Road 110 

       rate: $20/person subject to a minimum charge of $50


3.3 Mileage Rates and Fares for Call and Demand Shuttle Service

Mileage rates will apply only in instances where no specific point to point call and demand shuttle rates are published in section 3.2 of this tariff for the services being provided.

From Absolute Bikes Salida, CO to all points within a 35 mile radius of the intersection of F St. and Sackett Ave. Salida, CO that are on and east of the Continental Divide.

rate: $5/odometer mile loaded or unloaded from 330 W. Sackett Ave. Salida, CO to point of destination. (Example: if the trip is 20 miles to total fare is 20 miles times $5 equals $100) all trips subject to a minimum charge $25.


3.4 Catchall Mileage Rates and Fares for Call and Demand Shuttle Service

Catchall Mileage rates will apply only in instances when no specific point to point call and demand shuttle rates are published in Section 3.2 of this tariff for the services being provided and no mileage rates are published in Section 3.3 of this tariff for the services being provided.

rate: $5/odometer mile loaded or unloaded for mileage from 330 W. Sackett Ave. Salida, CO to point of pick-up to the passengers destination. (Example: if a passenger would want to be picked up in Poncha Springs, Co and be taken to Buena Vista, CO mileage charges of $5/mile would be charged for travel from 330 W. Sackett Ave. Salida, CO to the passengers pick-up point to the passengers destination in Buena Vista, CO.


4.0 Rates for Charter Transportation And The Transportation Of Property

Charter Rates-The Colorado Public Utilities Commission as determined in Docket No. 96-017CP; Decision No. R96-463, that Section 14501 (a) of The ICC Termination Act of 1995 preempts state regulation of charter rates. Carrier’s rates for charter service can be obtained directly from the Carrier at the Carrier’s principal office and are subject to change without notice. Carrier’s rules and regulation governing charter service are also maintained on file at it’s office and can be obtained directly from the Carrier at the Carrier’s principal office and are subject to change without notice.

Rates for Transportation of Property including bicycles and accompanying luggage-The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has determined in that the state regulation of the transportation of property for hire, including bicycles and accompanying luggage has been preempted by the Federal Government. Carrier’s rates for the transportation of property of any type including by way of illustration but not limitation, baggage, bicycles and accompanying luggage and packages and parcels, can be obtained directly from the Carrier at the Carrier’s principal office and are subject to change without notice. Carrier’s rules and regulation governing the transportation of property are also maintained on file at it’s office and can be obtained directly from the Carrier at the Carrier’s principal office and are subject to change without notice.


The proposed effective date of the tariff changes is July 13, 2019, unless the Colorado Public Utilities Commission suspends the effective date of the proposed changes.

Objections to the proposed tariff changes must be made in writing and filed with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, 1560 Broadway, Suite 250, Denver, CO 80202, at least 10 days before the effective date of July 13, 2019. If the Commission sets the matter for hearing, the filing of a written objection will not by itself allow a person to participate in the hearing. To participate in the hearing, a party must also file a written intervention and receive leave of the Commission to intervene. Requests to intervene as a party must comply with Commission rules.
