Born from the trails of Colorado, Yeti’s SB5 is everything a trailbike should be — nimble on the climbs and dominant on descents. With a sleek frame design, internal cable routing, Boost spacing, lower stand-over height and metric suspension all atop Yeti’s Switch Infinity translating pivot, it is the go-to choice for any trail adventure. The SB5 Carbon series frame is 6.27 lbs and preserves Yeti-performance at a more aggressive price point by using a slightly modified carbon material and different layup. Yeti’s Switch Infinity suspension platform and smart frame design grants you the trail-ruling trinity of deep travel support, small bump sensitivity, and rock-solid climbing. Add 5 inches of ample Fox Performance suspension to the equation, and you’ll be nearly unstoppable. SRAM’s 12-speed GX Eagle drivetrain packs a tremendous punch while keeping cost down so you can benefit from the wide-range 1x system, and Guide R brakes scrub speed with precision to keep you on track when it matters most. 27.5-inch DT Swiss wheels roll on grippy Maxxis Ardent tires for bite over loose and technical terrain, and Fox Transfer dropper post keeps you loose and in control for good old rowdy fun everywhere you ride.
Yeti’s SB5.5 is where the trail, all-mountain and gravity bike intersect. Forget any preconceived notions about 29ers, thanks to an impeccable frame design, shortened chain stays and aggressive suspension spec, the SB5.5 is easy to maneuver and feels lively and quick. The SB5.5 Carbon series frame is 6.21 lbs and preserves Yeti-performance at a more aggressive price point by using a slightly modified carbon material and different layup. Yeti’s Switch Infinity suspension platform grants you the trail-ruling trinity of deep travel support, small bump sensitivity, and solid climbing. To keep the bike balanced, Yeti used a 160mm-travel fork with 51mm offset combined with a 66.5-degree head angle. Outfitted with SRAM's budget-friendly wide-range drivetrain, the SB5.5 GX Eagle is ready to take flight on your local trails and bike parks. Yeti rounded out the bike with Fox Performance suspension, the aggressive Maxxis Minion DHF and Aggressor tires, and SRAM Guide R brakes with monster 180mm rotors. The final touches are a burly Race Face stem and bar combo and Fox Transfer dropper post.
The new SB100 is a short-travel 29er. It transcends the weight-weenie, uphill only models and replaces it with a precision riding bike. The bike is speced with 100 mm suspension paired with a Fox Performance 34 fork and the XO1 Eagle drivetrain. The new Switch Infinity design allows space for an uninterrupted seattube, accommodating longer dropper seatposts and a water bottle mount in the front triangle.
