Jeremiah Sage

Jeremiah is a recent Colorado transplant, coming to the mountains to play. He worked as a paramedic until he rediscovered his love for the outdoors.

Q. Where did you learn your love of bikes?
A friend loaned me his hardtail and I was instantly hooked on the sport. I love the peace of the wilderness and the thrill of a good ride. Mountain Biking is the one outdoor sport I don't have much experience in. What better way to learn than to jump in head first.
Q. How many bikes do you have?
I have an old Gary Fisher Bontrager I pulled out of a dumpster and have converted into a gravel bike. As far as a mountain bike, I am still making up my mind and the current bike market doesn't help. For now I am just using a loaner from the shop.
Q. What is your favorite local trail?
It is a toss up between North Backbone and Rusty lung. I love the views of north backbone and its a great mix of flow a technical terrain. Rusty Lung is fun and great to go fast on.
Q. What is your favorite trail outside of Salida?
Bentonville Arkansas had some great trails and you don't even have to leave town to ride wood features.
Q. What is your favorite post-ride food?
Chicken and Waffles with a nice dark, frosty beer.
